CLYDACH Wasps are through to the final of the Benevolent Cup after beating Pilcs 2-1.
Played at Govilon, Tyrone Gravell put Clydach into the lead with a strike on the 20 minute mark.
Kyle Cheshire consolidated Clydach's lead with a goal from the penalty spot to make it 2-0 at the interval.
Pilcs threatened to stage a comeback when they scored in the 65th minute and Clydach had Kyle Cheshire sent off with two yellow cards, but the Wasps held fast and will now play either Tranch or Fairfield tommorow night at Goytre's Plough Road. Kick-off is at 6pm.
Usk Town failed to book themselves into the final of the Langdon Cup after they were knocked out by Trevethin 2-5.
Consolation strikes for Usk came from a Jeremy Barton goal and a Will Barton penalty.
Llanarth cruised their way into the final of the P&P Pest Control Open Cup after blitzing Pandy 6-0.
Goalscorers for Llanarth were Tomas Bowden (2), Steve Morgan (2), Colin Morgan and Daniel Wheeler.
Llanarth will now play either Clydach Wasps or Trevethin at Plough Road this Sunday with a 6pm kick-off.
