DESPITE the wet and windy weather, the Abergavenny U8 team had an excellent turn out on Sunday and were able to enjoy a decent training session prior to kick off, which paid obvious dividends during the match.
Osian Jones scored all the Abergavenny tries with some excellent runs from both ends of the pitch, and effective tackling and team work by Abergavenny prevented the away team from becoming any real threat.
Man of the match went to Liam Hockey for a solid performance throughout the game with both the support and running he afforded his team mates
Next Sunday Abergavenny will be taking a trip to Tredegar to test their mettle.
