The Welsh Blood service is holding more blood donation sessions in Monmouthshire.

You can support your local blood donation session at Usk memorial hall on Friday 30 May.

Another donation session is taking place in Abergavenny on June 2 in Waitrose, Llanfoist.

By donating to another person, lives can potentially be saved and patients with specific conditions can recover more quickly and lead a normal life.

For the entire process, it takes approximately 45-60 minutes however the time it takes to give blood takes between five to ten minutes.
