A road closure in place on A40 between Abergavenny and Glangrwyney, near the Lamb and Flag Hotel

Emergency Services are continuing to deal with a serious, one vehicle road traffic accident on the A40 Brecon Road between Abergavenny and Glangrwyney.

The road is closed and diversions are in place which will cause congestion.

For those motorists intending on using the road to travel to / from The Royal Welsh Show, officers are advising that you take the A4077 Gilwern junction or use the Heads of the Valley Road.

Please avoid the area if possible and find alternative routes for your journey
