A RAGLAN man has died following an early morning collision in Carmarthenshire last Thursday.

Alexander Ratcliffe Jones, aged 26, of Castle Farm was the driver of one of the two heavy goods vehicles involved in the collision at the Maesybont junction on the A48.

Dyfed Powys Police said officers were called to the scene of the collision, on the eastbound carriageway, shortly before 6am on April 11.

A police spokeswoman said that investigators had been at the scene of the accident carrying out inquiries throughout the day.

The coroner for Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire held an inquest on Friday, April 12 and adjourned the hearing to a date later in the year. The coroner released the body of Mr Jones to his family.
