Police are chasing a man who burgled Abergavenny’s town hall overnight, they have confirmed.

A police spokesman said, “At approximately 9.30am on Thursday January 24, 2019, Gwent Police received a report of a burglary at Abergavenny Town and Market Hall.

 

“It happened sometime between 9pm on Wednesday January 23 and 9.30am Thursday January 24, 2019, when an unknown male entered the premises.”

Police said a quantity of cash was taken, and their enquiries are ongoing.
