POLICE have repeated their appeal for information after arsonists destroyed a family home on the outskirts of Gilwern.
They are still anxious to hear from anyone who can give them vital clues in the hunt for the offenders who struck at 300-year-old Dan Y Graig on the Crickhowell Road between 3am and 4am on September 20.
Police have since removed ‘materials’ from the structurally unsafe shell of the detached property as part of their criminal investigation.
Offensive slogans were daubed in red paint on the property by the culprits whose motive for the attack remains unclear.
It’s understood the couple made homeless by the incident are living in accommodation nearby.
Anyone with information about the arson should ring police on 101, quoting log 98 of September 20.
