GWENT Police are renewing an appeal for information about a Raglan man who went missing earlier this year. Mark William Shaw, aged 26, has been missing from his home since March. Shortly after his disappearance Mark's father, Christopher Shaw, made an appeal for his son to get in touch with them. Mark was last seen by his parents on Monday, March 21, when they left the family home for an overnight function in London. His parents said everything appeared normal when they spoke to him on the phone later that evening. Police believe Mark left his home, in a black Ford KA car, sometime between 11am and late afternoon the following day, with approximately £35 in cash. His car was found in the car park of Whitesands Beach, in St David's, in the early hours of March 23, and there has been no sighting of Mark despite extensive searches of the area by Dyfed Powys Police, local coastguards, mountain rescue and RAF helicopter. Inspector Geoff Smith, Monmouth Police Station, said, "Officers have been in constant contact with Mark's family and have also been in close contact with Dyfed Powys Police throughout this time. "Although we have no new leads, we are still appealing for anyone who was in the area of Whitesands Beach, St. David's at the time of his disappearance or who saw Mark as he travelled to the area from Raglan to get in touch," he said. Mark is described as white, 6ft1in tall of a slim build with short wavy red hair. He is clean-shaven, has brown eyes and wears small round black rimmed glasses for reading and driving. At the time of his disappearance he was wearing a black fleece coat, grey corduroy trousers and navy canvas shoes. Anyone with information is urged to contact Gwent Police on 01633 838111.
