ONCE upon a time there were four, rather long, pigtails; and then, in a snip, they were no more.
However, this particular tale has a happy ending thanks to Sam Pearce who braved the scissors in aid of the Little Princess Trust, which provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children across the UK and Ireland who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment.
Sam is director of Pink Angels Office Services based in Nevill Street, Abergavenny. She stated, ‘Any contribution you make will make an impact, whether you donate a lot or a little.’
Sam’s 30cm pigtails, which took more than five years to grow, have so far raised more than £700 in sponsorship for the charity and people are still invited to donate via a dedicated Facebook page at www.facebook.com/donate/192860041628750/10157804255234638/
