Around 80 passengers were evacuated after a fire on a train at Pontrilas this morning (Friday)
Fire and rescue services were called to the three-carriage train at Pontrilas in Herefordshire at 11.03am and all services between Abergavenny and Hereford were suspended after smoke and sparks were reported coming from a carriage.
A spokesman said the incident centred around a diesel engine on the second carriage.
Around 80 people were evacuated safely and no injuries were reported.
