A Raglan sheepdog reported missing last month has been found and returned to his ‘distraught’ owner.

Gwent Police received a report that the spirited canine, known as Jim, was ‘stolen’ from Euro Garages on the A449 road on July 24.

However, officers investigating the ‘theft’ found the animal at a service station nearby after a member of the public reported a dog running along the motorway. ??Officers managed to get hold of the excited Jim and place him off the road. ??A police spokeswoman, said, “We are very happy to say Jim the dog was fed, watered and returned to his owner, fit and well.”
