FOOD and fitness was on the menu at Llanbedr Church in Wales School with help from Jane Peacegood of Prickly Pear.
Pupils have been using the 'cookit' equipment designed by the focus on food campaign a practical food programme for schools to learn new skills, hygiene and nutrition value of food.
The pupils in years four, five and six have been learning new skills including the education of preparing and cooking local produce.
Headteacher Gwynfa Lilly said, "They all enjoyed a morning of making healthy burgers using local produce inspired by Jane Peacegood from local catering company Prickly Pear."
