MONMOUTH Comprehensive School have launched their upper school production taking place early next year – gothic musical comedy The Addams Family.

The Performing and Expressive Arts Faculty recently announced the production of the upcoming show by students in Year 9-13.

Over 90 students from upper school years have auditioned to take part in the show, and teachers have been impressed with the array of skills and talents they have to offer.

The Addams Family musical is about Wednesday Addams falling in love with a boy from a respectable family, hosting a dinner for his parents, and forcing Gomez to keep a secret from Morticia for the first time.

The first rehearsal took place on Tuesday, September 22, ready to bring to the stage a spectacular spooky show.
