The largest Welsh music festival will celebrate its 25th anniversary when it returns in August 2027, and details of how to guarantee a place at next year’s festival have just been released.

Green Man will take place between August 19th and 22nd next year on the Glanusk Estate, near Crickhowell, and tickets are expected to sell out in record speed once again. Green Man 2025 and 2026 sold out in less than 60 minutes.

The looming ticket sale will be the “only opportunity” to secure a place at the festival, which has recently seen the likes of Wolf Alice, Mogwai - who supported The Cure this summer - CMAT and the rap group, Kneecap.

Tickets will be released at 10am on Saturday September 26 and no further tickets will be released for 2027 when they sell out. They’ll be available via the Green Man website as thousands prepare for the rush to get to the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park next summer.

But Green Man won’t be the only major music event on sale over the course of the weekend, as tickets for the the long-awaited second leg of the Oasis reunion tour also go on sale that weekend. Although fans of the Gallagher brothers will already have had to register for ticket sales by then - registration closes at 4pm on Thursday September 17 - the tickets themselves will be on sale between September 24 and September 27.

Those successful in the race for Oasis tickets will be given a unique code to head to Ticketmaster at a specific time, for a specific city. If they happen to also be intent on going to Green Man and they’re given a slot at 10am on that Saturday morning, music fans could be facing a difficult decision. While it is a far-fetched scenario, those hoping to be at both may want to make extra preparations just in case.

Alongside standard weekend tickets, the Green Man Settlement Pass offers the chance to transform the festival experience into a week-long holiday; welcoming ticket-holders on-site from Monday 26th August for an extended programme of music, workshops and countryside experiences within Mid-Wales. The ticket also offers a range of discounts for local heritage sites, galleries and attractions.

Green Man 2026 marked yet another triumph, with a clean sweep of five-star reviews and critical acclaim from The Guardian, The Times, The London Standard, Rolling Stone UK and more. While the festival was highly praised for its commitment to independence, freedom of curation and impact upon the local Welsh community, Green Man also became the first festival in Wales to be awarded the Platinum Charter from Attitude is Everything, recognising Green Man as a festival that innovates, influences, and leads the live music and events industry in accessibility for deaf, disabled, and neurodivergent people.

The festival is also well known for nurturing and launching new talent; artists such as Fontaines DC, Michael Kiwanuka, Self Esteem, Wet Leg, CMAT, First Aid Kit and Kae Tempest have all had their first seminal performances at Green Man.
