This week saw the announcement of HSBC closing 114 branches across the UK, including Abergavenny, Brecon and Chepstow, sparking outrage amongst locals.
The decision is based on a large portion of HSBC’s customers moving to online banking following the pandemic.
In light of this news, we spoke to Abergavenny’s Mayor - Councillor Tony Konieczny, about his views on the closure and what this means for the community.
