A CHARITY set up to support the terminally ill and their families is seeking fundraisers for their annual daffodil appeal.
Marie Curie is looking for volunteers in Abergavenny and Monmouth to spare two hours to hand out the charity’s daffodil pins, in return for donations.
The Great Daffodil Appeal, takes place in February and March and the charity says the money raised helps provide expert care to people with terminal illnesses, as well as supporting their families.
The charity’s community fundraiser for Monmouthshire, Charli (correct) Thomas, said, ‘Whatever your story, donating and wearing a daffodil pin during March unites you with millions of others to help make sure all dying people get the care and support they deserve.
‘What’s more, collecting is lots of fun, you can do it on your own or with friends, and Marie Curie will support you from the moment you sign up.’
Anyone interested in volunteering for Marie Curie’s Great Daffodil Appeal and give out the charity’s daffodils pins in return for donations, is invited to visit mariecurie.org.uk/collect, or call free on 02920 426 068 or by email at [email protected].
