People looking for a new job are invited to turn up for a recruitment day taking place in Abergavenny tomorrow (Tuesday July 13).

The ’My Care My Home’ organisation are looking for carers for a Domiciliary Care role which will involve caring for people in their own homes.

The open day will take place on Tuesday July 13 from 9.30am to 2.30pm at the Melville Centre for Arts, at 2-5 Pen y Pound.

The My Care My Home Human Resources team will be at the Melville centre conducting interviews with interested candidates throughout the day.

Those wishing to come along and be interviewed are asked to bring identification documents such as a passport, driving licence or birth certificate.

Being a Community Support Worker, you will be responsible for delivering first class care to care home residents, ensuring their needs are met and minds put at ease.

No previous care experience is required as full training will be provided.

Applicants will need to be over the age of 18 and drive their own car with use of the vehicle for work purposes.
