Travella Road, in Llangwm, has been closed in both directions by police with motorists urged to avoid the area.

Gwent Police confirmed they were at the scene in a statement.

“Travella Road in Llangwm is closed in both directions,” the force said on social media.

“Diversions are in place which may cause congestion.”

“Please avoid the area if possible and find alternative routes for your journey.”
