Local Assembly Member, Mohammad Asghar AM, has called on the Welsh Government to take urgent action to reduce the number of motorcyclists killed or seriously injured on roads in Wales.
Mr Asghar made his call during questions to the Minister for Economy and Transport in the National Assembly today.
Mohammad Asghar said,“Motorcycle user casualties are a significant component of all road casualties in Wales.”
“The number of motorcyclists killed or seriously injured on Welsh roads has increased from 213 in 2012 to 282 in 2014.”
“I am calling on the Minister to take urgent action to see what can be done to reduce the number of motorcyclists killed or seriously injured on our roads.”
