The trial of an Abergavenny property developer accused of murder has been deferred as police scour through vast quantities of phone data.

Peter Morgan, 53, is accused of murdering Georgina Symonds, whose body was found at a farm address near Usk.

Cardiff Crown Court heard the case would not be ready to hear in June as planned because of the sheer amount of data involved.

Morgan will not face trial until at least October, but could be as late as January 2017.

He remains remanded in custody until Jan 31 2017.
