A child who hadn’t been seen for five days after going missing almost 20 miles away from has been found after a police appeal.

Rory, who is just 11 years old and from Ebbw Vale, hadn’t been seen since last Wednesday when he was seen in the Pwllypant area of Caerphilly. However, just before midnight last night (Monday) officers confirmed the good news that he was home.

“Gwent Police recently appealed for information to locate Rory, from Ebbw Vale, who had been reported as missing,” a spokesperson said.

“The 11-year-old has since been found. Thanks for sharing our appeal.”
