Monmouthshire Labour Party is to field candidates in every Monmouthshire County Council seat at the council elections in May.
Speaking at a recent training session held in Raglan the party chairman Peter Marsh-Jenks noted that, for the first time in history, Labour members would be standing in all 43 seats.
He said,“From now on there are no free rides for the Tories in Monmouthshire. If they want seats, they will have to fight for them. Our local party has more members, more resources and more determination than ever before. We are organising training and have a robust campaign strategy so we are confident of making considerable gains in the May elections”.
