A 21 year old man has died in a serious road traffic collision between the Hardwick roundabout and Llanellen Bridge.
Gwent Police was called at approximately 6.50pm yesterday (09/09/13) in relation to a serious road traffic collision on the A4042, between Llanellen Bridge and the Hardwick roundabout, Abergavenny.
The collision involved four vehicles - two Heavy Goods Vehicles, a blue Ford Focus and a Vauxhall Combo van.? ?
Unfortunately the 21 year old driver of the Ford Focus received fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was closed for a number of hours whilst emergency services including fire, ambulance, and police dealt with the incident and officers are still investigating the circumstances.
Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to ring 101 quoting log 449 09/09/13.
In a black day on the area's road another person died and another was been left with life threatening injuries after a collision between a van and a lorry on the A449 between Usk and Newport on Monday afternoon
Gwent Police said one person travelling in the van was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another person, also travelling in the van, has been taken to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff where his injuries are described as life threatening.
The one occupant of the lorry suffered minor injuries and was also taken to hospital, Gwent Police said.
The collision forced the closure of the A449 road in both directions between Raglan and the Coldra roundabout
Five fire crews and an air ambulance have been sent to the scene following the collision which happened around one mile before the motorway. Both sides of the carriageway are currently closed.
The collision happened at about 2.15pm and it was initially understood that people were trapped inside the vehicles
South Wales Fire and Rescue Service crews from Malpas, Maindee and Usk have been sent to the scene as well as the air ambulance.
Police accident investigators were also at the scene for several hours before the debris was cleared and the road opened.
In a separate incident three people were involved in a collision between a goods vehicle and two private vehicles on the A4042 near Hardwick at Abergavenny at around 7pm on Monday.
