THE Usk Civic Society and Rural Life Museum Town Quiz took place recently where Lord Raglan presented the prizes.

The quiz was a joint project between the Civic Society and the Museum to get children and families to explore the town of Usk and observe their local surroundings.

Grateful thanks were given to Stella Collard, Sylvia Corrall and David Young for

judging the competition entries.

The answers and the winning entries were on display in the Museum, New Market Street, where there was special free entry to the Museum from 10.30am until 5pm.

Winners were Lucy Clarke, Mr Parry and the Barber family. There were five other entries of a comparable standard to the winning ones and each received a runner-up prize of a £10 book token.
