Firefighters tackled a blaze near Usk on Tuesday as flames ripped through a barn loaded with 100 bales of hay.

An Usk crew fought the fire at Lower Prescoed Farm, Prescoed, for two and a half hours after racing to the scene at around 10pm.

Firefighters eventually quelled the blaze after midnight.
