Later in the month members will; gather for Christmas lunch at Monmouthshire Golf Club in Llanfoist (December 15).
Two new special interest groups started recently and are proving popular with members. The Quizzle group meets on the second Friday of the month and offers team competition in a general knowledge quiz and various puzzles. The Boules group meets every Monday at Llanfoist village hall piste, starting at 12.30pm.
The U3A network is all about learning - starting something new or developing skills people never had time for when they were employed full-time or raising a family. It is also about teaching each other.
