RIBBONS created to raise funds for a young boy with a rare form of cancer are selling rapidly according to supporters and are becoming a common sight on vehicles in north Monmouthshire.
On hearing of a little Jacob Jones’ battle with a cruel and aggressive form of cancer called neuroblastoma, big-hearted members of Abergavenny Round Table donated 333 rolls of ribbon - enough to make more than 5,000 bows to adorn cars, doors and windows.
Matt Lane of Abergavenny Round Table stated, ‘I believe sales are going well but it is a long way to the target for Jacob and the more that can be raised, the better.’
Anyone wishing to support Jacob’s fight and learn more can visit the family’s Just giving page at www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/jacobourlittlewarrior.
Ribbons can be obtained from various outlets throughout Abergavenny and from Siany Probert who works at RM Jones Farmcentre, Brecon Road.
