Former Mardy convenience store could become chippy

A former Abergavenny convenience store will become a fish and chip shop if planning permission is granted by Monmouthshire County Council.

The council is considering the request under the Town and Country Planning Act and the Control of Advertisement Regulations for the rebranding of the premises on Mardy Road which the applicants state will create two full-time and two part-time jobs.
