Crick claim the crown in style

Crickhowell RFC - 77

Tref-y-Clawdd - 8

Crickhowell RFC won League Three East Division in some style with an emphatic bonus point win over a brave Tref-y Clawdd outfit.

The visitors turned up with men short and just one man in support. Crickhowell loaned them some players but despite their best efforts they were unable to stem the flow of 13 tries scored against them.

To their credit, they never gave up and were rewarded with a penalty and a try of their own. Winger Tony Perry scored a hat- trick, whilst Lewis Cooke and Ben Crockett had a brace apiece. Jack Dobbs scored his first try for the club and was awarded Man of the Match. Other tries came from Andy Nicholl, Matt Botting, Tom Keane (who also kicked the five conversions), Lewis Logan and Curtis Price.

Next Saturday sees the team travel to take on bottom of the table Rhayader with a 1.30pm kick off.
