Police officers round up horses in town centre

By Staff reporter in Community News

UPDATE: It’s believed the owner of the horses had now been found.

LOCAL people rushed to the aid of police officers in an effort to round up a group of six horses running loose in the centre of Abergavenny on Saturday afternoon

Police have thanked members of the public for their help and are appealing for the owner of the horses to come forward.

It’s understood the horses were seen in Alexandra Road, Richmond Road and Albert Road before heading into the town centre via Ross Road.

Officers have also appealed for somewhere to keep them until the owner is found

Any information call 101 quoting log 308 29/04/17.
